Siblings December

We are at the end of the year, which means this is the last time of 2015 I am linking up with Lucy from Dear Beautiful to her linky Siblings. I have only recently started linking up to this because Matthew only started interacting with Chloe since the Summer. Which is fair enough because she was only a baby and she lying in her moses basket or sitting in her bouncer and couldn’t do much.

It is so much fun watching the 2 of them together now. They love playing together and Matthew likes sharing his toys with her. Every time Chloe can’t reach a toy Matthew gets up and gets it for her. But then she gets a bit cheeky and throws it away on purpose and Matthew is forever getting up and giving it to her which looks hilarious.

Recently Chloe has started moving backwards and going around in circles. She cannot crawl yet but she goes get around by pushing herself around with her arms.
This month was the first they both had a bath together. Up to that point Chloe was having her own bath downstairs in the kitchen in a portable bath. But she is getting way too big for it now. How do I know that? Well, she is splashing and flooding the whole kitchen so it was time to sell the bath. She now sits in a seat in the bath with Matthew and really enjoys it. They are soaking each other and Matthew throws water on Chloe’s belly which she finds hilarious. Chloe enjoys bath time way more than Matthew did at her age. I remember daddy had to go in with him all the time because he just didn’t like it on his own. Goes to show how different every child can be.

About a week and a half ago we set up our Christmas tree. The kids love all the lights on it. This year I added a train to the bottom of the tree. The are absolutely fascinated by it. Matthew knows he is not allowed to touch it. It was some job trying to crawl under the tree and make sure all the tracks are connected.

We can’t wait what the new year brings for the two. We are planning a few trips.

Oh, I love the train! What a great idea 🙂 It is lovely to see them start to interact and play when they’re this age, isn’t it? Wonderful photos of them playing together. Have a lovely Christmas x
