A Clean Dishwasher with Finish + Giveaway

3 weeks ago I was approached by Finish to try out some of their new improved dishwasher products. Of course I agreed, who doesn’t like a few cleaning products as a mum right?

In our household I have been using Finish Powerball Quantum Max tablets for the past year. Before that I used cheap ones from Lidl or similiar. The tablets can be quite expensive but I normally look out for offers in Tesco, Lidl and other stores to keep the costs down. The reason why I am using Finish now is because it has the promised glass protection and keeps glasses shiny. Sometimes I find with cheap tablets you don’t get that.

Here is just an example on a casserole dish. That is based on a dishwasher that has been set to clean the dishes at 50C. Sparkling clean and ready to be used again.

But you want to look after your dishwasher too. If it is not looked after then the dishes won’t look as sparkly as you expect them to. Even if you don’t see it, grease and lime scale builds up on the vital parts of your dishwasher. Why not try out Finish dishwasher cleaner, available in lemon sparkle fragrance.

1409308-aw-packshot-ft-rgb-lrFinish Powerball Quantam Max Tablets (Tab count 18, 30, 45 and 60) are available in regularlemon, apple & lime and power and pure at a cost of €15.65. At the moment they are on sale for just €8. That’s for the 30 pack.

I personally liked the Apple & Lime the best. The smell when you open the dishwasher after a cycle is lovely.

I’ve teamed up with Finish to give my readers the chance to win a few of these products. This includes: Finish Powerball Quantum Max Apple & Lime , Finish Powerball Quantum Max Lemon, Finish Rinse aid lemon sparkle and Finish Dishwasher Cleaner

Finish Products 1-20150703-111420206

For your chance to win all this, all you have to do is enter below.

The competition is open to residents from the  UK and Ireland only. It will end July 20th.

We have 6 adults and 1 infant in our house, so the dishwasher is run at least once a day, sometimes twice depending on what we’ve had to eat. It’s always a tussle last thing at night to see if I can squeeze a few more things into the dishwasher before turning it on. Anything I can’t fit in, I wash by hand as I HATE coming downstairs to dirty dishes! Plus I still do pans, kitchen knives and any delicate items by hand.

HA! question did make me laugh. Bought a second hand dishwasher for £50 – a sink based one, which worked fine for a few years. On selling our house, we promised to leave it for the new owners. It failed the night before we moved, and the first thing OH wanted was a new dishwasher. So our answer is – OH hates doing the dishes, but at least with a dishwasher, it hides the fact he hasnt done them!

  79. 10th July 2015 / 9:12 am

Living in a house with 9 family members, our dishwasher is on at least 3 times a day! we would drown in dishes if we washed by hand!
