Our Christmas Memory 2014

I can’t believe how fast Christmas flew this year. 28th December already and Christmas is basically over. It makes me a bit sad that good times like that always go so quickly.

We did have an amazing Christmas though.

DSC05066Matthew is delighted with all the new toys Santa brought him. He has hardly touched any of his old toys so they must be good. Santa has taste!

DSC05087 DSC05097DSC05100 DSC05104I think these photos sum up all the presents he got. Just to give you a proper summary though. Matthew has been a lucky boy this year:
Mickey Mouse Popup Tent which he calls his “house”
Thomas the tank engine trains
Thomas the tank engine Mega Bloks Set
Trunki Suitcase
Jake & the Neverland Pirates Scooter
Lego Duplo Cars
Little Tikes Car Carrier
Kitchen

DSC05069Following the German tradition on Christmas Eve our dinner was potato salad and sausages. I was a bit nervous because I never made the potato salad from scratch but it turned out well.

DSC05109You guessed… another German dinner tradition. Hubby is not a big fan of this one so next year I might do him a favor and cook turkey for once. This was our Christmas Dinner. Dumplings, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts and duck.

I hope everyone else had a lovely time. Why don’t you link up below? I’d love to read about your Christmas experience.

Wir haben genau die gleiche Küche. Meine Tochter hat sie geliebt und jetzt spielt mein Kleiner total gerne damit. 🙂 Tolle Geschenke!

Yeah the polish tradition seems to be the same as the German one. We would have either carp and duck but I don’t like carp.

Matthew is so adorable! Santa was so good to him and he looks so happy with everything – especially his Trunki! We always have a traditional Christmas dinner but as Jacek comes from a Polish family he grew up having carp and duck.
