Ella’s Kitchen Toddler Meals

Feeding a toddler on the go can be tricky sometimes. Especially when you are traveling by car you might not find the best chain/restaurant near you that would suit your toddler. Most times when we are on a mini trip away Matthew is the good eater and Chloe eats like a mouse. It depends on what food they have. For example, she is not a fan of Mc Donald’s and doesn’t like chips that much.

This is where Ella’s Kitchen comes in. When I started weaning Chloe, Matthew was a full grown three year old toddler who was running around all day. I didn’t have much time to cook food from scratch. Back in the day when I just had Matthew, I did make a few attempts to give him homemade food when he was weaned but that didn’t last too long. As you might remember I weaned Chloe with Ella’s kitchen. They were available from four months of age back then. If you’ve missed the post, you can read back on it here. I can’t believe it has been almost two years since our weaning journey.

As well as that Ella’s kitchen have created different types of toddler meals. They are the perfect portion size for a toddler and are suitable for kids from the age of one to three years. All six meals have organic vegetables inside them. We received:

  • Bolognese Bake
  • Chicken Curry
  • Chicken Paella
  • Beef Stew
  • Veggie Moussaka
  • Pork Stew

I tried a few of them with Chloe at dinner time but she was not a fan of any of them. This doesn’t mean your child doesn’t like these. My first impression was they look healthy and very suitable for toddlers. My little lady is very fussy with food to be honest. Of course she eats all the food she gets in creche but at home she becomes the fussiest child. Everything has to be mashed for her basically like a baby. I have no problem with that but she will have to at least try eventually and eat a whole normal meal.

The toddler meals are available in all main grocery stores such as Tesco for £1.90 a meal.

You might also want to check out their website to browse their latest cook book range. I never realised they already had four books released. The latest one is “The Easy Family Cook Book”.

Disclaimer: We received the product for the purpose of this review. This is 100% my honest opinion.

I am a big fan of Ellas kitchen – so nice to know that you’ve got some organic goodness for your little ones that you don’t even have to prepare! x
