Galway Weekend Trip

So how was everyone’s weekend?

Ours was amazing! Last minute we decided to book a night away in Galway for a family trip. It’s only 2 hours away from Sligo after all. It’s nice to get away sometimes. Parents with their own children probably can’t agree more.

It was the perfect weekend to go somewhere. The weather was fantastic. So warm! And it’s nearly the end of September. Crazy weather this year.

So after arriving in Galway at lunch time we had some lunch of course first and then went off for a walk along the promenade, through a park and past a playground. Matthew loved it. He had so much fun. The day in pictures:

So then we found the playground and the green Matthew can go wild on.

He definitely can’t deny that he didn’t have a great time. He was such a great boy all day.

Today then we didn’t do much to be honest because shops only started opening at 12pm as its Sunday.
First shop we went to though we got the best toy ever. A Mickey mouse helium balloon. Hours of fun.

Mummy had to treat herself too. So I got myself a dust charm. Its so cute. You put it into the part where your headphones normally go into to cover it from any dirt or dust.

Some may or may not know that I am big into writing letters (#snailmail) so I found a few cute sheep postcards and a bunch of stickers. I’m looking forward to start using these on my next letters.

I really hate the way the weekends always go way too fast! On the other hand though I am off on Friday which means I have a short week. My friend is coming over from Germany for the weekend. It’s going to be a busy one again.

It looks like the weather was just gorgeous! Weekends always go so fast, don’t they? I’m on holidays for two weeks now, woo hoo!
