…not me but my blog did.
I have been blogging now for over a year and I decided it was about time to change my header. I was thinking about it for a long time because I was never really happy with it. It looked too empty, too much going on in the right hand corner rather than spread across the whole page.
There’s so many great blog designers out there that I decided I am going to pay one of them to do up my blog. As this is my big hobby now and I love it so why not invest a bit of money into it. With 2 small children realistically I won’t get the time to design a header myself.
The wonderful Helen at Ellie Illustrates was the lucky one who could design my header with a few pointers given to her.
Helen has been a graphic designer for the past 15 years and offers freelance design and illustration services.
I think with the pointers I gave her she definitely got everything so perfect and on the spot that I can’t get over it. I could have had a background with it too but we viewed it and it just looks simply better with a normal white background.

yeah I think it was ok to spend a bit more money on my blog header because I was never really happy with it and I put up with it for a year.
It’s great, I love the illustrations! It’s good to have a header you love, as you say, it’s your blog that you spend a lot of time on, so it’s good be proud of it! #sharewithme Sabrina xx
