Living Arrows 16/52 Easter Break

Where do I start? Our last week has been very adventurous. If you follow my Instagram feed, you will know that on Wednesday we were heading to the UK on a ferry for an Easter break. The kids had the best time and we left our routine behind for once.

We fitted so much into the four full days we had in England. During this time we were staying in the lovely Drayton Manor hotel which is right beside the Drayton Manor Theme Park. It’s so handy. We went to the theme park, Cadbury World, Paulton Park (mainly for Peppa Pig World) and done a Safari tour. We weren’t lazy at all. I am not going into too much detail as there will be a series of blog posts in the next coming days.

The hotel has a playground at the back of the property.  We explored the grounds after we checked in. We done enough traveling on the Wednesday and decided to take it easy that day. The afternoon was spent at the playground climbing, walking over bridges and jumping from tree roots. That evening we went for food in the restaurant. They had an option for a buffet dinner. I jumped at that chance. I always prefer to have a selection of food, rather than a full plate of one meal and only managing to eat half of it.

Spending Easter abroad didn’t mean the Easter bunny couldn’t come and bring the kids a bit of chocolate. I had packed an Easter Egg for the kids and also an egg each that I filled with some Easter grass and small bits of chocolate. Easter Sunday morning was spent in the hotel room sitting on the floor eating chocolate. It was pretty much Chloe’s breakfast as she didn’t want to eat anything else for breakfast.

I didn’t buy them any toys because the trip away was their present really. Plus daddy treated them to a few toys in Thomas Land and in Peppa Pig World. So plenty for them.

You cant beat chocolate for breakfast at Easter. Your little boy looks like he is having a great time playing at the park. Im glad that you enjoyed your time in the UK, definitely sounds like you made the most of it.
