Milton Steriliser Kit Review + Giveaway

Hygiene is an important fact but it is even more important when you have small children or even babies. When I had my first child I was over careful when it came to germs and things flying around. I remember the afternoon like it was only yesterday when I brought Matthew home from the hospital. My cats were inside a lot at the time because he was born late August and it was really warm. (It was pretty hot for a country like Ireland at the time) We had the moses basket ready to go in the living room. We still had leather couches back then and as soon as I was in the door, I was away cleaning to make sure my baby boy wouldn’t pick up anything. Completely silly, I know.

Fast forward a few years, I was less careful when Chloe was born. Let’s face it, they are going to pick up something eventually. It’s only good to develop a good immune system. These days I only clean the obvious things. Milton got in touch to help me out with this and sent me a few cleaning goodies.

I received the antibacterial surface spray, wipes and hand gel. Chloe is using her high chair less and less. I think it’s got to do with the fact that she is setting at the big girl table on a chair with the other toddlers on creche. We do have a table in the play room and a chair for each child. They love having their lunch or snack together there. Just like children are, it always gets messy. The spray is so handy using a kitchen towel and just going over the chairs and table and give it a good clean over. Same for the highchair and any other surface that got dirty. It doesn’t have to necessarily be kids related.

The hand gel is very practical in your handbag for on the go. For example in doctor surgeries they encourage the hygiene of patients so no one picks up the flu. Recently I have been to an appointment I had to use hand gel before going into the doctor. #

Wipes are a godsend. I don’t know how we done without them before we had the kids. How did we clean? We clean basically EVERYTHING with wipes, not just the toddler’s bum. This could be the computer mouse, the keyboard, toys, dirt on the floor, doors from the kids touching it, sink, the list is endless. So this is what we have cleaned with Milton antibacterial surface wipes, too.

I have to be honest here and say I use branded if it’s on offer and non branded if it’s not – I would normally lean towards Detol 3x spray. Thanks for hosting this fab blog post and giveaway with such a useful prize.
