Siblings in October

I can’t believe that I am writing an update on brother and sister again. I am probably saying it in every post now at this stage BUT the last month has been flying. It could well because the days are getting shorter and the evenings are getting darker. Here’s hoping the time change in two weekends won’t affect the two too much.

The relationship between Matthew and Chloe has been growing. Just like siblings are, they fight half the time, too. It’s normal to do so, right?  We have been trying to get out more in the last month but the weather hasn’t allowed much In fact we are due a hurricane in the next twelve hours. It’s going to be interesting. Yet we always have very busy weekends booked in our family organiser hanging in the kitchen.

Not too long ago we went for a little stroll in the woods again. It’s a great area to let kids run free. We brought their bikes so they didn’t have to walk all the way. This is also where we took our family photo for September. Autumn can be such a beautiful season. All the leaves falling down from the trees and creating a great photo with all the different colours of leaves.

We have been kicking leaves and collecting conkers. There is actually two trees opposite our house which means we don’t have to go far at all. A few weeks ago I bought Matthew a pair of wellies. In creche they like jumping up and down in muddy puddles but he had to borrow off another because he never owned a pair himself. He can be a bit odd wearing certain things. But you can clearly see how he is growing up a lot lately, particularly since he started school. He is now the proud owner of Lightning McQueen Wellies. He absolutely loves them.

Chloe has become such a little lady. Her favourite thing to do at the moment is feeding her little dolls and driving them around in their pram. Then on the other hand she also likes playing cars with Matthew and crash into things. She really looks up to him. She absolutely loves him.

That’s very true. It would be not to see them fight. Plus it would be boring not to teach them things. x

My two are so so close but yes they fight too and I think that’s totally normal, I tell myself it is teaching them valuable lessons about life! x

I love seeing their relationship blossom. It is lovely to see. How gorgeous are those woods? The trees have made their own little road!
