About Me

Hello there,

My name is Janine. I am 39 years of age. I grew up in Germany and decided to make a big step in 2006. I started working as an Au Pair in Ireland. The main goal was to improve my English. A complete new experience for a young girl at the age of 19. I would have never imagined that I would move to another country. A country with a different culture and a different language.

In August 2012 I became a first time mum. Matthew was born. Shortly after in February 2015 Chloe joined who made our little family complete. We also have two cats named Eevee and Tilly which are the kids everything.

In my spare time I like to play tennis or get engrossed in the travel I could be doing on my favourite Youtube channels which then inspires me to do research for my next trip.

Since the kids are now older, my blog has turned from a family and lifestyle blog more into a solo travel and family travel blog. Generally we only do summer holidays as a family but long weekends, for example, I go on my own travels and explore new cities in Europe. My dream for my 40th birthday is to either travel to Vietnam, Thailand or Japan. My daughter is obsessed with Japan and she is like a little mini me when it comes to traveling. She really enjoys it and loves seeing new places. One day we will be visiting Japan together.
