I feel like this little project of mine has been dragging on for such a long time. It all started off at the beginning of the year, when I shared my wish list of decor with you. Decorating each room in the house can take such a long time. Particularly when I want it to be 110% and not just 100%. Seven months fast forward since that post and I am finally at the end of decorating our master bedroom. I will probably end up with one or two more things here or there but that’s it then.
A while ago I started decorating the kids bedrooms. It is a never ending project. I want it to be perfect and end up getting more little bits and pieces. But I think I finally have Matthew’s bedroom nailed. One wall still looks a bit too pale for me but I haven’t figured out what I am going to do with it yet.
It has been two and half a months since we moved into our new home. It is fair to say that we have all settled in really well, especially the kids. We don’t miss the old place at all.
Initially I wanted to have this post up and running quite some time ago but you know the way it is with the kids. This winter has been awful to us with sickness after sickness and I just simply didn’t get the time to put the finishing touches to his room, take the photos for the blog post and most importantly of all get time to write the blog post.
But here I finally am. You might find some inspiration for your new boys bedroom if you are currently planning to give it a new style.
I am in such a DIY and decorating mood at the moment that I wanted to share a few more brilliant bedroom ideas with you, but this time for girls. Readers who have been following my blog for quite some time might remember that I created a video last summer to show you what Chloe’s room looks like at the moment. Prior to that it used to be a yellow computer room.
2016 is the year of improving/upgrading our home. After living in it for nearly 7 years you’d think everything is perfect but in fact owning a house always means updating it. I love doing this sort of stuff though. I am big into DIY projects. Obviously it is going to take a bit longer when you mind 2 kids but I am doing a bit of everything every weekend.
