Considering a Non-European All Inclusive Holiday?

Have you booked your Summer holiday for next year yet? Or maybe you are waiting until all the Christmas madness is over and book in the new year? I haven’t decided yet, whether we will go on a Summer holiday at all next year. The last one was two years ago so we should really treat ourselves.

When traveling as a family of four, it can be a quite pricey holiday. Generally it’s hard to find anything under the €2k mark. However if you book it early enough, or at a time offers or last minute deals are on, you could save a good bit of money.

I am a holiday maker who likes their, at least, half board option. Preferably all inclusive though. When we went on holidays in Spain two years, we opted in for the full board option. At the time of booking, there was not much of a difference between the full board and all inclusive option. You’d get unlimited drinks but we worked it out that we would pay the same money, when we buy the drinks ourselves.

Loveholidays recently carried out a survey of 2000 holiday makers to gauge their view on different types of holidays abroad. The result has quite surprised me to be honest. Whenever I talk to friends, family or other families with children, they always book an apartment with self catering. I wouldn’t like that at all. You are on holidays after all. The least thing I want, is to be stressed and cook a meal every night. I like a good buffet in a hotel with many meals for the kids and the adults to pick from. These days you can book into Apart Hotels which is essentially a hotel with apartments but have the same facility as a hotel resort would have.

Most holiday makers in the survey would consider an all inclusive holiday due to the uncertainty of Brexit. Over 45% of those surveyed would consider a holiday in the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa destinations such as Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco or Egypt. All-inclusive holiday searches to Turkey are up 83% year on year. I have been to Turkey once and it was indeed an all-inclusive holiday. I would definitely consider Turkey again. It was only me and my mum at the time and I didn’t have any kids back then.

To help identify the top all-inclusive hotels based on both Trip Advisor reviews and the number of bookings, Loveholidays has created an interactive all-inclusive hotels finder. Simply enter a destination for a list of the best all-inclusive hotels in that area.
