My Top 10 Christmas Movies

We are all in the Christmas spirit these days. That gave me an idea to share my Top 10 Christmas Movies with you.

Being the 1st advent this Sunday there’s a lot of Christmas Movies on TV. I can’t wait to start watching them with my little boy.

1. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

Hubby and me watching this every Christmas. Mostly on December 21st. You are probably wondering why on that date? Well, that’s our anniversary and the day we met. It was also our first date night and we watched this movie together in my apartment. A lot of memories. Very romantic isn’t it?

2. Home Alone 2

You can never go wrong with Kevin alone in New York. A classic movie made for Christmas.

3. A Christmas Carol

I’ve seen this movie in 3D in the cinema. It’s incredible with all the snow flakes going by but even on the normal TV in bluray format it’s unreal.

4. New Year’s Eve

I could watch this movie every week. It’s based in New York City.

5. Santa Clause

There’s 3 movies to this one I like them all to be honest.

6. Elf

Hilarious movie. If you haven’t seen it yet this has to be your task for this Christmas.

7. The Singing Ringing Tree

This is a German fable from the brother Grimm. I have loved this movie since I was a child. 2 or 3 years ago I got even more excited because my mum got this on DVD for me at Christmas so I can watch it whenever I want. Have you heard of it?

8. Polar Express

This is a great movie to watch with your children in the evening time on a cold winter day. It has only recently been on TV and will be again this Sunday if my memory serves me right.

9. The Grinch

It’s actually funny that this movie has made my top 10 list. It’s the kind of movie you are sick of but still watch. That’s how I feel about it anyway.

10. The Holiday

A romantic Christmas movie to watch with your other half.

Do you have any favourite Christmas movie or even a list?

I haven’t seen any of these! I’m terrible at watching films at the best of times. I think the most Christmasy film I can think of that I have seen is Serendipity.
