Sad news “ We will never forget you”

As probably some of you may know my mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer May last year.

She’s been in hospital in and out. The last 3-4 weeks were tough on us all.

24th March I had to fly over because she was not well at all. She only returned from the hospital a couple of days before. The cancer was spreading again and unfortunately not slow. 🙁 I was able to spend some time with her which was lovely.

She died 29th March 2014, Saturday morning 9am. It happened in her sleep. I am glad it happened in her sleep so now she is no longer in pain anymore but it was really sad seeing her go.

Dermot and Matthew only joined me 2 days beforehand.

I am happy she was able to spend a lot of time with us at Christmas and was able to play with Matthew all the time. This gave her and us some good last memories.

She only turned 59 years of age on March 19th. Way too young to have to deal with something like this. That shows us, it can happen to anyone.
