Me and Mine November 2017

I am a bit late with November’s family portrait and it was totally last minute taking it, too. In fact it was taken last night after hubby arrived home from work. But at least he knows his place and knows how important the Me and Mine project is. Haha November must have been the quietest month for us from the entire year. It has been really cold the last few weeks so I didn’t feel like going out or explore anywhere.

Me and Mine {October}

What a month it has been. The last four weeks were pretty much based all around the big move. We had to sign a lot of documents. I had to get moving box and declutter a lot of things. Because of that we haven’t really done much in the month. It has been a stressful one. But we are now in the new house for over a week already and I can honestly say we have settled in really well already. We haven’t met any of the neighbours yet because we are the first ones in the phase that has just been finished. There are many other houses beside us though and some people go for walk past our house. That way I got to talk to one or two.

Tomorrow will be my first day back at work after being off for full two weeks in a new office. It will be a complete new routine because we have to get up way earlier now due to the traffic in Dublin which means the kids will have to be dropped in earlier. Since the time has changed, Matthew has been getting up at 6am. So probably no harm. They’ll get used to it anyway.

With the move and everything, my family portrait for October is our last photo taken in the old house.

The Me and Mine Project

Me and Mine {September}

Ahhh, it’s end of September. Autumn has officially started a couple of days ago.Three months until Christmas… just saying. But first Halloween which is my second favourite season of the year. September was a pretty quiet month for us. We didn’t do anything mad or we didn’t go anywhere. We were pretty much kept busy organising our final decisions on our new home. Things like tiles and carpets. I never thought it would be so stressful trying to pick these things. In my opinion it needs to be perfection. Maybe it’s a German thing. We are not going to move again. This will be our forever home You want to design it the way you want it and make it look like your forever home. I am really happy with the decision I made so far.

This might be my last ever Me and Mine post from our current house. If it all goes well, our new chapter in life will begin in three weeks time which leads me to the project being carried out from a different location from then onwards. It’s sad and exciting at the same time.
