The Siblings Project April 2019

I know half of May is nearly gone and I should have posted this thirteen days ago. Life gets in the way sometimes and blogging isn’t that straight forward anymore. Finding the time is the problem these days.

Nevertheless I wanted to capture April for my two. April was full of fun for us… for a week anyways as we took a week off during the Easter holiday. It was just literally to break up the time for the kids, particularly for Matthew. The Easter holiday was two weeks long and so we thought a week off at home would be nice for him, rather than spending it in creche the whole time.

Luckily the week we took off, we had such amazing weather. Having a week off with just rain and wind with kids is not really ideal. There is very little you can do and being inside the whole time will give them cabin fever. It would give me cabin fever too. I need to be out at least once a day. One of the days we went to the Clonfert Pet Farm. The kids had an absolute ball. Chloe is so much more confident lately. She was dying to get onto the bouncy castle but only when her big brother Matthew is with her.

Easter Sunday we’ve done an Easter Egg hunt in the garden. As siblings of course they fight as much as they love each other. To keep the hunt smooth, the eggs were hidden in the right hand side of the garden for Chloe and in the left hand side of the garden for Matthew. It worked a treat and we had two very happy kids in the end with a lot of chocolate consumed that day.
