8 Photos of Happiness

A while ago I was tagged by the lovely Nicola from LadyNicci to present my 8 photos of happiness. The idea originally came from Aby from YouBabyMeMummy and she thought it would be nice to spread this lovely tag in Ireland, too. So here it goes.

  1. First Night Out

Sabrina,me+Dermi26-12-09

This was back in the day when hubby and I first met. In fact this was our first night out a few days later after we met. Look how young we look. I suppose I was only 21 years of age.

2. America

I was lucky enough to be going to New York for work 4 years ago (hubby and I work in the same company) and we managed to do even a bit of sightseeing. One of them was going to the top of the Empire State Building. We have also seen many other sights like Central Park, museums, Times Square Madam Tussauds etc.

3. Christmas in my hometown

I really loved spending Christmas with my other half and my mum in my home country. This was also a very special occasion. That Christmas we told my mum that we were expecting Matthew. I generally love spending Christmas at home because it is New Years Eve I am looking forward to the most. We always have fireworks and unfortunately that is a lack in Ireland.

4. Wedding Dress Up

Hubby was grooms man 2 years ago at one of his friends wedding. I loved seeing Matthew all dressed up in his cute little outfit I borrowed. Wasn’t he a cutie back then? Of course he still is now!

5. Baby boy is born

No doubt I will have to include Matthew in this. He looked so tiny there and he is 3 years old already now. He certainly took his time to make his appearance to the world. I was 10 days overdue.

6. Granny and Grandson

My mum had her last Christmas with us in Ireland 2 years ago. I am glad I could capture this photo with her and Matthew. He really loved playing with her the whole time.

7. Baby girl is born

And of course my little girl being born at the beginning of this year. I love the similarity of the 2 photos between her and Matthew laying in the cot in the hospital. I have never even realized that until now really. She’s 8 months now. Time flies.

8. Concert Fun

Here is me and my best pal Karo at the Script concert in June. Great fun it was and I recommend to anyone to go to a concert at least once a year.

This is such a lovely idea. It’s nice to look back on the things that have made us happy.

Can I also draw attention to the fact that your husband has not ages at all? What’s his secret?!

Ahh I love this tag idea, a lovely opportunity to reminisce. Your photos are lovely. I completely agree about concerts, its one of my favourite things to do! Love the newborn photos, and New year in your home country sounds lovely! You”ll have to start buying in fireworks and doing your own so the children can experience your own traditions too! 🙂 xx
