Mammy’s Christmas Wishlist

PicMonkey Collage

It’s that time of the year again. I am in the middle of making a list for every family member in the house. I swear it’s not easy and especially it is not easy for the kids. You’d think it would be as there are so many things out there you can get these days. The main reason why I find it particularly hard though is because I want to keep it at a limit and not get a ridiculous amount of toys that is lying around in the living room with the space we don’t have.

Today I am sharing my own presents I would like to get off Santa aka hubby.

1. Russell Hobbs Buckingham Kettle

A few mums out there might relate to this. The kids are in bed and you are dying to have a cup of tea/coffee or you are just about to turn on the kettle for next day’s baby’s bottles. But the kettle is so loud that you can’t possibly here anything on the monitor if one of the kids cries. I found this kettle in Argos. It has a quiet boil feature but not only that, it boils in as low as 45 seconds. The capacity of it is 1.7 litre. The current kettle we have is not only louds but it also takes forever to boil.

2. Sony Cybershot Tripod

I’ve been saying for months now that I wanted a tripod for my Sony camera. This is not a fancy DSLR one that most bloggers would have these days but this one takes the photos just as good and I love it. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I received this camera as a Christmas present off hubby a few years back and it is one of the best present he ever got me. Because I tend to take more photos lately for my blog where I would need it to stand on something, a tripod would come in very handy. This one is compatible with my camera and extends up to 1 meter.

3. & 5. Samsung Galaxy S6 phone case

Recently I got a new phone as my old HTC One M8 was leaking memory because I was just using too many apps, taking too many photos/videos and I was using up too much RAM by using Facebook, Twitter, you name it. I now have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and it is the best phone ever. The only thing I find, which I find with every smart phone these days, is that it is kind of sleepy and I have dropped 3 times already with one time being on the road! Luckily I didn’t do any serious damage to it. So for that reason I would like to get a nice cat phone case I spotted on Ebay.

4. Pyjamas

Everybody needs a lovely pair of pyjamas. I haven’t bought a new pair since last year so I am in need of a new pair, especially now that I have dropped a clothes size (woop woop!) These monochrome pyjamas I found on the Next website look very comfy to me and they fit my needs. Short sleeved top. Brilliant. I hate long sleeved pyjamas, it’s just simply too warm to wear something like that.

As you can see from my list I am easy to please. I suppose the main presents here where hubby needs invest a bit more money would be the kettle and the tripod but then again he would use the kettle daily which would mean it is a present to himself, too.

What is on your Christmas wish list this year?

We said that we are not going to give any technology toys to each other this year (In saying that he is getting a fitbit wristband!!!) but my list is so small this year because we have everything possible in the house.

That one is from Ebay. I don’t know if you can get it anywhere else. I generally check ebay for phone covers.

A quiet boil kettle – what a genius idea! Aren’t normal kettles so loud?! And I’d love a new pair of pjs too 🙂

That kettle sounds awesome! You can’t go wrong with pyjamas either at Christmas. I think we are going to start the tradition of new pjs for Christmas Eve as it is Lucas’ first Christmas this year. Thanks for linking up #ChristmasLinky x

I’ve been meaning to get a tripod for ages. Think it would really help my photography.

I love my tripod, although it’s a faff to take out and about, so my gorillapod gets taken a bit more regularly. I love my S6 too (I’ve got an Edge), and I know what you mean about slippy. Mine falls off the chair arm if I don’t direction it the right way.

My list is lots of camera stuff too. I’d love a GoPro (never going to happen, so saving John Lewis vouchers and hopefully can get one from there), want to do a couple of hours course with a local photographer, some pop up reflectors, and a slow cooker. We need a shed too, but the OH is moaning about that.

I love pjs too as presents this year the only things I can think of atm is a new pair of converse and the bloggers planner.
