Books, books and more books

I’ve done some online shopping (I know, you are probably not surprised) for Matthew last week.
Today the package came.

5 New books! Perfect timing because my little man is sick at the moment. Plenty of reading material before bed time.

Tabby McTat, Stickman and the Gruffalo are all from Julia Donaldson. I am looking forward to start reading these to him. Someone on instagram recommended the author to me.

I had a quick peek earlier on and not that you only have the story but there’s also pages with particular words and a picture with it to learn more words. Brilliant.

The Christmas book from the Usborne is all about learning their first words at Christmas time. From decorating the tree up to Santa on his sleigh and to unwrapping presents. It’s all covered. Again it’s written very cute with plenty of pictures to understand better.

Post man bear is just another book I thought might be good. I haven’t heard of it yet but it was recommended on Amazon’s children’s books so I thought I’d get that too. We’ll find out very soon if Matthew likes it or not.

This is the start of introducing more books to Matthew other than Peppa pig because he’s a bit too obsessed with it but aren’t they all?

Have you purchased any new books recently for your little ones?

We have! Stickman is a fave in our house at the moment (i’ve just reviewed it on my blog) and the Gruffalo is a classic. The stories are really good although I don’t know if I’ll be saying that once I’ve read them for the five thousandth time! Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚ #TheList x
