Our Stay in the Newly Opened Center Parcs Longford Forest

Last week our family set off to Center Parcs in Longford Forest. The weekend before that, the launch event took place but the official opening of the park was Monday 29th July. It was a last minute break we booked to be honest. As I have been to Center Parcs myself as a child, I wanted my own kids to…

Our Family Day Out at Dublin Zoo over Easter

While we are here watching storm Hannah to arrive, I wanted to reflect on our last weekend adventure. The Easter weekend we had a little mini heat wave in Ireland and to embrace it, we decided to head to the zoo on Saturday… like so many others have planned.

A Family Day Out in Dingle, Co. Kerry

Day three of our Kerry adventure brought us to Dingle. A small port town in the South Western part of Ireland. I wanted to visit here for such a long time but the drive from Sligo, back when we still lived there, was five hours and it was just way too far.  Thankfully from Tralee it’s only an hour.
