Little Adventures on the Micro Trike

Scooters and ride ons are a big hit in our house. It doesn’t matter how old the kids are or if they are in fact too big for it. They love cruising around in the garden or out the front near the big green. They much prefer it to walking for sure.

A few weeks ago we were sent a new product from Micro Scooter, the Micro Trike. We never owned any of the Micro Scooter products so I was really excited to receive this. So far I only heard good reviews about this company. Micro Scoother do scooters for adults too. I was tempted multiple times to get my own and scoot around with the kids. But then there is the price of course and the question “Do I REALLY need it?“.

The Micro Trike has to be the most compact scooter I have seen. It is suitable from the age of 18 months plus and is supposed to replace the pushchair. If your child is not able to walk long distance yet but you want to keep the heavy pushchair at home, then this is your solution. It literally fits into any car because it can be folded flat. You simply lift up the seat with the push of a button and easily store it away. That is one of the features I like about it because our shed is full of ride ons and bikes and the Micro Trike takes up a tiny amount of space.

The Micro Trike comes with a seat belt for your toddler, however because Chloe is 3 1/2 years we don’t require this anymore but it’s good to know anyway. The trike is super light and easy to maneuver with only one hand. That is another feature I love about it. You can easily take sharp corners and it doesn’t have a big radius like other bikes. The handle can be adjusted to your height, too. It is alright for me but maybe for the next build, it would be nice to adjust one more for our tall hubbies.

The foot rest is adjustable to your child’s height. So far we were able to venture out on the Micro Trike in the estate, park and woods. The only issue I came across with, was to get up on the foot path. It’s doable but only with care so that Chloe doesn’t fall off.

The Micro Trike is available to buy on the Micro Scooter website for €99.95 in four different colours (white, blue, pink and black). I would definitely recommend this product to all parents, particularly the ones who have two children and need to have one hand free to hold the older child’s hand when out and about.

*I was sent the product for the purpose of this review, as always this is 100% my own honest opinion.
