When your children start to attend nursery, play school, creche or school, it can be hard to keep their bits and pieces together. Some children may have the same bag, others may have the same coat. The minders are trying their best to keep each children’s stuff together but sometimes you might need to label it. I had a situation where Chloe had the same pair of shoes as two other girls. Now luckily she grew out of them and I bought a complete different pair then but it can happen again.
A while ago I was contacted by a lovely guy from a company called Cheerz. In a nutshell they print photos, for example onto polaroid sized paper. One of their best selling products is the Cheerz Box. It was perfect timing because I was about to purchase more polaroid pictures for our wall. The last one has been almost two years and there were only photos of me, daddy and Matthew on it. Chloe is with us 21 months now and she deserves to get a space on the wall in our bedroom too now.
As a mum of two kids I take a lot of photos daily. I organise my photos via Dropbox. Each child has their own folder with their special occasions like first Christmas and then there are folders that are broken down into months and when they are getting older into years. For example, I am currently using Matthew’s folder 4-5 years. I think it is the most efficient way to keep the photos in the right order and to have them for the future to look back on. This also gives me a great opportunity to pick which one I would like to have printed. They are virtually kept in the cloud which is nice and all but I do like to print the odd batch of photos and add them into a photo album or in this case hang them up on the wall. I like waking up to them. It also gives each room that bit more personal touch.
The Cheerz Box will hold up from 30 to 45 of your favourite photos. It is very simple to use the creator on their website. Just to mention they also have an app which you can use also to upload your photos in case it is only photos from your phone or you Instagram that you would like to print off. On the next page you can decide whether you want your polaroids to be black, white, colour block or vintage. I was very close to picking colour block because the colours looked really funky but I chose the good old polaroid white.
You can also choose from six different fonts, in case you want to include some text underneath the photo, you don’t have to though.
Your photos are being printed in Paris, France on premium photo paper. I was amazingly surprised what a great quality they are. Cheerz wil deliver your Cheerz Box to most European countries in less than a week. They currently have a Cheerz Box Christmas edition which in my opinion would make the cutest gift ever.
I have collaborated with Cheerz to give one of my readers the chance to win a Cheerz Box themselves. Simply follow the steps below to enter.
This giveaway is open to all European countries and will end 5th December. Good Luck.
A while ago I was contacted by Ziaja about their new baby skincare range. I have tried out the soothing cream before but I was very keen on using the shampoo and bath soap. Up until now I have only been using Aveeno bath and cream for my four year old and 20 months old. Both kids have dry skin since they were born. Matthew even had eczema but that has cleared up now.
Ziaja baby & kids lubricating bath (€6.49 / 370ml)
A new baby’s extra-delicate skin requires the purest products and should be bathed using a soap-free formula. Ziaja’s gentle lubricating bath wash is formulated without soap, colourants or preservatives to help protect babies skin from rashes, dryness and other skin condition. The ultra-mild formula gently cleanses the skin and leaves a light moisturising protective layer to prevent dryness. Gentle enough to use every day, this moisturising soap free wash naturally softens and soothes baby skin. Dermatologically and allergy tested – can be used on new-borns from day one, babies and toddlers.
Ziaja baby and kids shampoo (€6.49 / 270ml)
An everyday use shampoo that gently cleanses hair while respecting baby’s sensitive scalp. It leaves hair soft, silky and easy to brush, without causing any irritation. Enriched with chamomile extract and provitamin B5 to keep the scalp moisturised, soothed and healthy. Tear-free and colourant free formula. Recommended for babies and children from 6 months onwards.
As mentioned above we use Aveeno bath on everything. Whether it’s the body or the hair. It’s the most gentle cream for us up until now. I have used the new Ziaja kids shampoo on my four year old son Matthew. It is very easy to apply without him making any fuss.
Ziaja baby soothing cream with D-panthnol (€3.49/60ml)
This soothing cream contains 10% D-panthenol to treat baby rashes and areas of dry cracked skin on the body that need extra gentle care. The deeply moisturising formula softens and nourishes baby’s delicate skin by creating a barrier to keep skin protected and hydrated. Recommended for babies and kids aged one year plus (and also great for adults suffering from skin irritations).
Chloe’s skin seems to be specifically dry on her upper arms and her legs. I am combining Aveeno cream and the Ziaja baby soothing cream daily now. If I don’t use it at least once a day, her skin will easily go dry again. So I need to keep on top of it.
I am giving all my readers the chance to win a Ziaja baby product bundle for themselves. This includes the baby & kids lubricating bath, baby & kids shampoo and the soothing cream.
The giveaway will be open to residents in Ireland only and will run until 20th October. Good luck everyone.
Disclaimer: I was sent the new baby range for the purpose of this review. As always this is my honest opinion.

And here we are… first giveaway of the year as promised.
Over the last few months Matthew has developed a passion for “Thomas the tank engine”. He loves just everything that involves “choo choo”. The cutest thing ever actually is when he watches “Thomas” on TV. He has to have his 2 push along trains in his hands watching it.
Based on this I thought it would be a great idea to give one of the mummy bloggers out there the chance to win a bundle of “Thomas the tank engine” goodies.
1. “Thomas the Tank Engine” Single Bedding Set
2. “Thomas” Push Along Train
3. And finally a “Thomas the Tank Engine” Jigsaw.
To be in with a chance to win this prize all you have to do is enter below. Good luck!
This competition runs until 31st January and is only open to residents in the UK and Ireland.
