The Me and Mine Project August 2018

Wow, August was whizzing past. I wanted to have this post written at the end of August but somehow I just got too busy. On the other side I had my friend over from Germany for the whole weekend until yesterday and so blogging wasn’t on my mind at all.

August has been very good to us. We all love talking about the weather, particularly because we had such a good Summer this year. At the beginning of August we set off on our staycation in Co. Kerry which you can catch up on here.  The kids had such a great time and it was definitely far more relaxing than traveling abroad somewhere hot. Chloe suffers with the heat.

Apart from the staycation we took the rest of August pretty easy. It was very limited what we could do as Matthew’s fractured his elbow at the beginning of August. Thankfully he got his cast off just a week before he was back to school and also before his birthday and his actual birthday party.

The monthly family photo was taken in Killarney National Park in a horse carriage. The name of our horse was Tori
