Relaxation can be a lot harder once there are kids in this world to look after. Though it is important to get some me time. Working as a full-time mum and providing the kids with 100% energy, and sometimes more, can be tiring. This is why I consider the evenings the times I relax, or try to anyway.
Have you made any plans for the next bank holiday weekend yet? If not, then you might like one of the events I am sharing with you in this post. Halloween falls onto a Tuesday this year. I have been thinking of taking it off but then thought, not much point as we can celebrate it at the weekend. It’s only trick or treating for an hour in the evening after all.
This weekend we decided to start on the decoration for Halloween. This means we get to see it longer. The kids were particularly happy about that. Matthew has asked me to start on it since last weekend. It does make the house look so much cosier
Last week was the end of an era in our house. After putting the cot bed on many different buy and sell groups online, it finally sold at the end of the week and it went to a better home. The cot bed days are gone. We got nearly a good five years out of it. It was such a good quality cot bed.
I can’t believe I have actually made it half way through the Blogtober challenge. Sometimes I have been struggling but then last minute I was able to come up with something. Today is one of those days again. I don’t have a phobia as such. I am afraid of certain things but I wouldn’t call it phobia.
Prompt fifteen for Blogtober is “Old Photos”. The first thing coming to my mind is my own childhood. I was fortunate enough that my mum has documented my childhood very well. I have so many photos from me growing up which is such a nice memory to have. I am sharing a few with you this evening.
