Christmas Gift Ideas for Girls aged 3+

Christmas shopping is in full swing. I am sure that applies to nearly every household around the world. Or maybe you are one of those people who finished their Christmas shopping weeks ago? I’ll be perfectly honest, I am only done since the weekend, but I completed it all at once.

I am actually really looking forward to this Christmas. It will be the first proper Christmas where Chloe is going to be super excited for Santa to come and she understands the whole vibe. It will also be the first Christmas she receives proper girly toys. Only within the last year or so she developed a proper love for dolls and pretend play. The gift ideas I handpicked for you in this blog post are pretty much gifts Chloe will receive this Christmas. She will be four years in February so this is aimed at girls aged three and older. Maybe this will give you some ideas, too.

1. Doll’s Pram

Chloe was in need of a new pram. The stroller she has at the moment detaches itself all the time and can annoy her at the best of times. This stylish pram fits nicely into the same colour theme she already has. You can adjust the hood, take out the carrycot and fold it flat for easy storage. Available in Smyths for €24.99

2. Polly Pocket

Something that was popular during my own childhood has come back… Polly Pockets. The cute little dolly who is not even the size of a finger is available in the toy stores again with a variety of different scenes. However this time though your Polly is able to stick. It makes it a little bit easier for little hands to play. Available in Smyths from €5.99

3. Paw Patrol vehicle with pup

Paw Patrol is not just something for boys, we all came to the conclusion by now. Chloe is a big fan of Paw Patrol. It’s a shame that I gave some of the Paw Patrol vehicles away over a year ago. Matthew used to play with them when Paw Patrol was first released on TV.  She is a big fan of Marshall. She already has two Marshall figurines but no vehicle and so I picked one up in store. Available in Smyths for €11.99 (on sale now and nearly sold out)

4. Wobbly Worms – Tower Balancing Game

I am trying to get the kids more into board games. Matthew is hooked on it. Chloe may be a little bit small for it. Inspired by the original game Jenga, I got this balancing game. The same concept is behind, but you role the dice and it tells you which colour you have to take out which makes it a little bit harder. Hopefully this will be a big hit come Christmas morning. Available in Smyths for €9.49

5. PJ Mask Vehicle Set

A TV series Chloe picked up on is PJ masks. She loves the idea that they are super heroes. I do my grocery shopping in Lidl every week and so I come across great deals on toys and stuff. I got two vehicles for €9.99. They are still in store now but limited.

6. Toy till

Another great toy from Lidl which will fit perfectly into Chloe’s kitchen from IKEA. A wooden till. I find wooden toys great because they are just more durable and last longer. Bought in Lidl (on sale but may be all gone by now)

7. Shopping Basket

One last toy I bought in Lidl is this cute little shopping basket, available in two different colours, red and blue. We already have the red one which I bought one or two years ago. However at the time she was a bit young to understand the concept of shopping and so most boxes are ripped. I picked up a red basket this time and it will replace all the ripped boxes. In Lidl for €4.99

8. BABY born Soft Touch Girl Blue Eyes

Chloe absolutely adores playing with her dolls. She has five to date and she loves dressing them, walking them around, pretend going on holidays with them. But she doesn’t have one that she can actually dress and feed properly. I had a Baby born myself as a child and I got so much use out of it. It’s only right to get her own Baby born this Christmas. With that I also purchased a romper and an outfit for the baby. Available in Smyths for €49.99

9. BABY born Changing Bag

Last but not least a changing bag for all the items that comes with Baby born such as food sachets, clothes, soother, nappies and bottle. It’s just tidier to keep it all in once place in my opinion. Available in Smyths for €19.99

What is on your little girls Christmas wish list this year?
