Decorate your House with Red Candy

Home interior is something I am obsessed with. I love creating little features around the house. It’s just a woman’s personal touch I suppose. Slowly but surely all the Christmas and Winter decor is sneaking out of the attic. I always end up buying one or two new bits each year.

Not too long ago Red Candy got in touch with me to try out their website service. They have plenty of home decor items which is just the perfect fit for me. We have been in our house two years now but as everyone knows, a house is never finished. Obviously the main stuff is long done like appliance, carpets, furniture, etc. We are more into the decorating of each room now. When working full time and caring for two children it takes that extra bit longer.

I had given you a kitchen tour this time last  year. Back then I haven’t decided on the theme I am going with yet. As most of the kitchen is grey and blueish, I thought yellow would be the perfect colour to brighten up the room a bit. One of the main purchases were the yellow bar stools. They are so comfy and relative decent price too. I didn’t want to go too mad on the yellow colour scheme so I am only replacing small items and adding a splash of yellow decor here and there. Eventually I will replace my black read bin with a yellow one and I think that is it complete then.

Up until I browsed their website, the kitchen roll has been sitting on the window sill. It didn’t look too tidy and I had been eyeing with the idea of putting up something to keep the kitchen roll so it looks tidier. Then I found a yellow kitchen roll holder from Wesco. I absolutely love it. They have all sorts of different colours available, if yellow is not your thing. It’s actually on sale at the moment for £19.76.

The main bathroom upstairs could also do a bit of de-cluttering at some point. I still have my sea/starfish decor laying around it and haven’t managed to set it up yet. The bathroom isn’t as important though. I have been keeping the kids toothbrushes and toothpaste in a tumbler which was really meant to be for hubby’s bathroom. Thankfully I found a better and cuter storage solution online.

I absolutely love this whale bathroom tidy which has two compartments. I am using one for all their toothbrushes and the other for their toothpaste. There is no proper theme going on in the bathroom yet but I find blue is always the perfect colour in a bathroom in general. You can buy this for £12.

Red Candy has plenty of items on sale at the moment. And even if it is not on sale, this will definitely be not the last time I shop there. Sometimes it is hard to find the perfect home decor website and I am glad I can add this one to my home decor bookmarks.
