Rubik’s Junior *Review*

Something to keep the little mind going this time. With my five year old, we are past the educational toys you’d get for toddlers such as matching shapes. It’s now all about getting him to improve his concentration. Everyone will remember the Rubik Cube from years ago. As a child I used to love playing with it, even though I didn’t get the colours correctly.

John Adams recently released a Junior version of it. It’s very cute actually. They have developed four different shapes. We received the bear. But there is also a dog, a cat and a bunny.  The puzzle toy is perfect for little hands to handle. It’s aimed at kids as young as four years of age.

Each pack is the shape of the puzzle you get which is a nice little touch. It has bright colours which draws the attention to the kids. It is supposed to help your child to do problem solving as well as logical thinking. In my opinion it is the perfect toy for children who have just started school. Matthew likes fiddling around with it creating different designs. At the end of the day it is always easy to twist back to its original form which in our case is the bear.

As the size is so handy to play with at home and on the go, it’s something that you can take away on your holiday. It easily fits into any bag. The beauty of it is, that when you take it out, you won’t lose any pieces. It’s the one piece. I had nightmares in the past taking certain travel sized toys with us but one or two pieces were missing.

The Rubik’s Junior is going to join all the other toys who Matthew will enjoy playing with for months, if not even years to come. Rubik’s Junior is available from all major toys store such as Argos, Smyths and Toymaster for £9.99. In my opinion a very reasonable price.
